People are always going to doubt beacuse the are human. You just have to turn a blind eye to the nay sayers and keep it moving. AH
ReplyDeleteFear. MOST of us live in the box,only stepping out if the cost is clear or been define were w only have to follow the dots. Thats what makes a you highly blessed and favored. Seek not for "the" answer but for "a" answer.

ReplyDeleteWow..."a answer" vs. "THE ANSWER"...That is so true b/c people like talking to people that will tell them what they want to hear...which is "a answer" and may not be "THE answer"...or they'll keep asking around until they get the answer they want.
ReplyDeleteI agree with both of your answers. "The" answer is the only answer that really matters. Once you have confirmation of "the" answer no body else's opinions should matter. Once you start listening to people with "a" answer, then you're judgement become impaired. Likely leading to a rash decision.AH
ReplyDeleteAnd the beat go's on. A.vs t. answer, I said it but hadn't thougt it thru. We process a opinion for what "a" answer or "t" answer? I think it becomes both. In the case of GODS will for your walk , theirs the need for a benchmark to keep you on track.

ReplyDeleteI interact with all people socially , (I'am in the world not of the world). For me it's about relationship. If its not formed then thats my limit....socially.
ReplyDeleteOk I can see that. Many people Do Not socialize with non-believers for many reasons. I think that there can be a balance. If a believer is still struggling in certain areas of their life, then it may be good a good idea to connect with non-believers with the same struggle. For the most part, I feel as though we as believers should list socialize with non-believes to allow God's light to shine through us....so that we can witness to others.

Great question, only that person will really know if they are saved or not. People of God often times try to judge others walk with God. I believe that its not what we SAY but HOW we live, and only God know our heart. Its our job to love everyone....no matter where they are in their walk with God... But also to answer the other part of your question, for people that "ACT" saved but their heart is not lined up with God. I have found myself among these people from time to time and that's where the discerning of spirits comes into play.Discerning of spirits is the supernatural ability given by the Holy Spirit to perceive the source of a spiritual manifestation and determine whether it is of God (Acts 10:30-35), of the devil (Acts 16:16-18), of man (Acts 8:18-23), or of the world. It is not mind reading, psychic phenomena, or the ability to criticize and find fault.
ReplyDeleteDiscerning of spirits must be done by the power of the Holy Spirit; He bears witness with our spirit when something is or is not of God. The gift of discerning of spirits is the supernatural power to detect the realm of the spirits and their activities. It implies the power of spiritual insight - the supernatural revelation of plans and purposes of the enemy and his forces. It is a gift which protects and guards your Christian life.
Understood. 1john4 try the spirit. 1cor2:14 natural man (without the spirit) can't receive or will listen to that which is spiritually understood nor can he. I say the fruit of your spirit manifest it self in your attitude&chacter as noted in the people in chpters of acts in your blog. I agree that the discerning of spirit must be done by the holly spirit.
