Why is it that some people pay MORE money/tithes/donations to TV ministries than to their own church? I’m just wondering…….hmm

As a young professional woman, I realized the need for a transparent blog which would encourage and strengthen the average woman…The Mom, The Wife, The Entrepreneur, The Single Woman, The Woman that wears more than one hat, and feels as if no one understands her daily struggle to become awesome. I think because alot of people don't have a church to sow into....so they send it in to TV land..lol
ReplyDeleteMaybe people aren't being feed the WORD, just relegion. When people see the power of GOD the can't help but have a generous spirit(Zacheous).

I think this is a three fold thing but mainly two folds. TV ministry is more idealistic than someone's home church. In TV ministry all you see is the fruit of the seeds and not what goes on in the background. They see the worship singing, the worship gatherings, the pastor preaching until he/she sweats and they see the crowd as a whole. They don't see what "really" goes on but just like every church Tevelangist/mega ministries goes through what every church goes through just on a higher level. Not as in being better but the higher God promotes you the bigger the demons.
ReplyDeleteBut they don't see that. Where as, in their home church, they may see the same ministers, who pray for people, gossiping about why someone's daughter is pregnant at 15. Or they may see the Pastor/First Lady in a different way than what TV Pastors pose as. Or they may be division amongst the brethren in church and the church is divided. So because they may "see" with their natural eyes the real nitty gritty of their church homes they don't see this in TV ministry. They see the fruit not the behind the scenes so they give to Mega ministries.
The third fold is that maybe the TV ministry is ministering to them more than their own home church.
