Why do some believers act

Why do some believers act like they have arrived spiritually, I admit that there is always room to grow

  1. Marita, I reflected upon this just recently and within the past month or so I have really ask God why? I asked God how come some Christians go through some of the same trials or trials and some learn but yet are so loving and kind (gracious yet courageous) with other people (saved and unsaved) and how come some Christians go through a trial(s) and act like they have never had a trial or a failure in life....meaning those Christians/believers who your present can look very much like their past or maybe they have never gone through what you have gone through but they never take the time to be understanding. God told me that those whom He has allowed to go through something and mercifully getting them to the other side but they never continue on with their growing experience. God told me this is what is called "door knob faith" and I actually wrote about this. meaning some people whether it is good or bad but especially bad, they want God to deliver them from something(s) and they actually get delivered but they don't continue on with the complete healing process. They stop at the door and hold on to the door knob in fear/allowing God to work. When God allows us to go through a door and walk on the other side, it is also intended for us to continue on with that walk. And as I pondered this, God also revealed to me that by them not completing the healing process/progress, they are like ponds. After a while because they are
not cleansed Spiritually they have built up anger, bitterness, resentment, and criticism and whatever else they have going on. When you have built up anger criticism etc, you forget that you were once in that person's shoes or fail to allow the Holy Spirit to allow you to minister to others(the purpose of being a living Testimony) because you have not allowed God to deal with what's on the inside. It is not good for believers to just stop. because like myself when someone tells me part of the story I want to know the rest. Like if God got your through this one portion well then tell me how you finished healing or dealing with certain aspects. And I do understand that all have not arrived. Because when you truly walk in the love of God and allow Him to heal you, you will always know that you have not arrived but you were not where you used to be. Every Christian/Believer has a past. But some forget or want to forget. When you have a spirit of criticism or judgement, you tend to focus on other people's flaws instead of using the Word of God as Mirror for your own life therefore becoming religious like you have it all together when God is saying none of us have arrived. The only time we will be perfect is when God calls us home and has found us faithful and we walk through the gates of heaven.

Why is it that people think they can plan your life better than God? Meaning you've already prayed, God has ordered your steps, then someone doubts what
We sometimes look for other people to encourage us. Why do you think this can be dangerous? Or do you think that?
